Solstice Retreat…

All’s a-bustle on the farm these days, getting ready for our June events. We’ve hammered out a few more of the details and are already getting pretty excited about what’s to come.

For the Open Heart Open House, we’re thinking that we’ll aim to have pot-luck feasting begin around 5pm on Thursday the 17th while we all get acquainted, followed by Mana’s  Sacred Forms presentation.

On Friday the 18th, Mado, from True Self Yoga, will lead an early-morning yoga class, and our hike to Max Patch for sunset will set out around 5:30.

Some friends with Geometry of Nature will join us for the latter part of Thursday and the early part of Friday and have offered to do a hands-on geometry workshop, tentatively scheduled for 10am Friday.

Mana will lead a Soul Cleanse breathwork intensive 2-6pm on Saturday.

Our Prayer Vessel Ceremony will be mid-afternoon on Sunday and is a first step in what will be an on-going project to create a Stupa here on the farm. All are encouraged to write one or many prayers — prayers of celebration, prayers of release, for healing … whatever stirs your heart — for inclusion in the vessel.

Monday the 21st, at 6am, we will gather at the spring for prayer and meditation in the morning dew as the sun rises upon the longest day. Some may choose to hold vigil the previous night of Midsummer’s Eve around the bonfire while making merry with music.

We have some other ideas still percolating and will let y’all know here as soon as they’ve gelled enough for us to have a clearer idea of the what/when details. If you’re planning to join us for the retreat and there’s something you’d like to share as a workshop, demo, lecture, etc., please do let us know! We sincerely desire this retreat to be the co-creation of all in attendance.
